中华文化发展促进会

    中华文化发展促进会成立於2001年6月，是由文艺界、学术界人士组成的全国性文化学术团体。下设理事会、办公室、文化交流部、学术研究部、项目企划部，拥有中国华艺音像实业有限公司、华艺出版社以及广播、影视、互联网站等传媒机构。本会自成立以来，以弘扬中华文化、凝聚民族意识、推进祖国统一为宗旨，通过各种形式和渠道，积极向海内外介绍中国五千年文明史、传播中华优秀传统文化艺术，编辑出版和拍摄制作了大量反映、介绍中国改革开放新成就和精神文明建设新成果的图书、画册及影视作品，每年多次在台港澳地区及海外成功举办学术交流以及文艺演出、书展、影展、画展等文化交流活动，受到各界的广泛关注。

    China Association for Promotion of Chinese Culture was founded in June 2001 by leaders and academics in Chinese literature and the arts. It is composed of the Council, Administrative Office, Department of Cultural Exchanges, Department of Academic Research, and Department of Project Planning. The association also has the following subsidiaries: China Huayi Audio and Video Company, Ltd., Huayi Publishing House, in addition to radio, film and television production and internet websites. Since its inception, CAPCC, sticking to its aim of “promoting Chinese culture, strengthening national consciousness, and foster the unification of the Motherland”, has propagated China’s 5,000 years of civilization and culture both domestically and abroad, through various means. It has promoted the best of China’s traditions and arts, by producing documentaries, publishing books and pictorials that narrate China’s achievements through reforms and opening up, capturing the patriotic spirit of the Chinese people. CAPCC has drawn the world’s attention through many cultural exchanges, art performances, book fairs, film premiers, and art exhibitions inTaiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, as well as in many other countries.

    积极开展学术交流活动，与海内外学术机构建立广泛的学术交流与合作关，特别是在两岸四地举办的两岸关发展、中华传统文化等学术研讨活动，产生广泛影响。积极参与海外华侨华人“反独促统”运动，是“全球华侨华人推动中国和平统一大会”发起方之一。

    CAPCC has established a wide range of exchanges and cooperation with institutions at home and abroad, by actively carrying out academic exchanges, especially those seminars held in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao on the development of crossstrait relations and traditional Chinese culture, which has produced extensive influence. It has also actively engaged in the “opposing independence and promoting unification” movements launched by the overseas Chinese, and is a co-sponsor for “Overseas Chinese World Conference for Promoting Peaceful Reunification of China”.

    组织大陆高水平文艺团体、著名歌唱家和艺术家赴台演出，盛况空前；赴台举办形式多样的艺术展，展示祖国大陆的建设成就、两岸文化的同源一脉和民俗风情的多姿多彩，形成两岸共同创作、共同办展的文化交流模式，促进了两岸文化融合；举办两岸作家、艺术家采风活动和两岸青少年学生联谊活动，切身感受两岸同胞血浓於水的骨肉亲情，增进了岛内民众对祖国大陆的解和认同。

    CAPCC frequently organizes star-studded casts in music and arts from the mainland to perform and exhibit in Taiwan. By displaying the achievements made by the mainland, the splendors of the Chinese customs, and the same cultural origin shared by people on both sides of the strait, these exchanges have inspired common creations and joint exhibitions by artists across the strait, and contributed to the cross-strait cultural integration. CAPCC often sponsors practice trips for writers and artists from both sides, and various activities that bring together cross-strait youths, providing opportunities for people in Taiwan to better know and understand the mainland, and deeply feel the inseparable brotherhood between the two sides.

    以讴歌中华民族伟大精神为己任，以重大纪念活动、重要庆典为契机，组织了一系列大型纪念宣传活动，以民族大义凝聚同胞情感，用历史传承昭示两岸未来；以弘扬中华文化为主旨，以增进两岸民族文化认同为目标，对典型的中华民族图腾和象展开全景式宣传推介，对广大台商、台生、台胞在大陆创业、生活的感人故事进行贴近式采访报道，在海峡两岸产生很大影响。

    Every commemoration, celebration, is taken as an opportunity to manifest the responsibility of people across the Taiwan Strait to raise the national pride and spirit. A series of panoramic publicity activities have been undertaken to reveal the common history and cultural heritage, reiterate the same blood and national identity, in the aim of unfolding the inevitable unified future. By looking into and telling touching stories about the lives of large quantities of Taiwan businessmen, students and other Taiwan compatriots now dwelling in the mainland, especially by carrying forward Chinese culture and national totem, our efforts have borne significant fruits.

    每年出版各类精品图书画册百种、一百万册，一批文化类、历史类图书获“中国出版政府奖”、“中国人口文化奖金质奖”等多项国家级大奖；与海内外出版机构建立了稳固的合作关，出版图书受到好评，有的连续多月成为上榜畅销书，有的被读者评为最喜爱图书；“海峡两岸图书物流中心”规模不断扩大，网络书店遍及台湾，开拓了大陆简体版图书运用电子商务模式在台销售的新平台。

    CPACC publishes beautifully bound books and pictorials every year, more than a hundred in type and a million in number, a multitude of which on history and culture have won “the Chinese Government Award for Publishing”, as well as other prestigious national awards, including “China Population Culture Award - Gold Medal”. Our publications, with sustained collaboration with overseas publishers, have been well received by overseas readers, and some can be steady on the best-seller list for months, and still others are regarded as the readers’ favorites. With the increased expansion of Center for Cross-Strait Book Logistics, and the rapid development of on-line bookstores throughout Taiwan, we have pioneered an E-commerce platform to introduce the mainland’s simplified Chinese-version publications into Taiwan.

    每年拍摄影视作品十部、百集，十部电视片获中宣部“五个一工程奖”、中国电 视“金鹰奖”、“彩虹奖”等全国性大奖； 与海内外主流媒体建立稳固可靠的合作关 ，联合摄制的电视作品和节目多次创高收视率，一些成为品牌栏目；完成二十部国家重点立项影视作品，播出後在全球华人中引起广泛共鸣，广大观众给予高度评价。

    CAPCC provides more than ten film and TV works with over a hundred episodes per year, among which, over ten have won many national awards like the "the Best Works in Five Cultural Aspects Award” by Chinese Communist Party’s Central Propaganda Department, Golden Eagle Award and Rainbow Award for television works. With our solid partnership with mainstream media at home and abroad, our joint productions have set recordhigh ratings and some have become hallmark programs on TV. We have completed over 20 nationally-appointed key films and television programs, which have resonated well and are highly valued by Chinese audience around the world.
